Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Silver Water Plumbing website. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Definitions
- “Company” means Silverwater Plumbing Pty Ltd (ABN: 71 609 246 077) or any agents, contractors or employees thereof.
- “Client” means the party requesting plumbing services from the Company.
- “Services” means the plumbing services to be provided by the Company to the Client as agreed.
- “Site” means the location where the plumbing services are to be performed.
2. Provision of Services
- The Company will provide plumbing services to the Client as requested and agreed upon.
- Services will be performed by qualified and licensed plumbers in accordance with Australian standards and regulations.
- The Company will provide an estimate of costs prior to commencing any billable work. Additional charges may apply if unforeseen issues or complexities arise.
3. Client Obligations
The Client agrees to:
- Provide necessary access to the Site and work areas.
- Ensure the Site is safe and free from hazards.
- Obtain any required permits or approvals for the plumbing work.
- Make prompt payment for Services rendered as per the payment terms.
4. Payment
- The Company will issue an invoice upon completion of Services or as progress payments for larger projects.
- Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
- Late payment fees of 10% per month may be charged on overdue invoices.
- The Company retains ownership of any supplied parts and materials until full payment is received.
- We DO NOT charge a callout fee when we visit your premises during business hours (7am to 4pm Monday to Friday). This free service includes a short inspection of the job site for the purpose of providing you a fixed-price no-obligation quote. It does not include any work or use of specialised equipment whilst at your premises.
- If you require an emergency after hours service, our team will confirm our emergency callout fee on the phone with you before booking a time to visit your premises.
5. Cancellation Policy
- The Client must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a booking without penalty.
- Cancellations within 24 hours or missed appointments can incur a cancellation fee.
6. Warranty
- The Company provides a 12 month warranty on workmanship for all Services provided.
- Manufacturer warranties apply to any supplied parts or materials.
- The warranty does not cover issues arising from misuse, damage, or normal wear and tear.
7. Liability
- The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from pre-existing faults or issues with the Client’s plumbing, gas, or electrical systems.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability is limited to re-performing the services or the value of the services provided.
8. $100 Off Service Discount
- This offer is valid for first-time customers.
- To qualify for the full $100 discount, the total value of the service must be $350 or more (including GST).
- This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, promotions, or special offers.
- The discount is limited to one use per household or customer and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
- This promotion is subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at any time without prior notice.
- Offer must be mentioned at the time of booking or presented to the technician before the invoice is issued.
- Offer is only valid within our regular service areas. Additional travel charges may apply for out-of-area services.
9. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
